I don't think I have Aunt Shannon's email but if you could get it to me that would be great! Also, Happy late anniversary! The ninth came around and I was thinking something seems important about today but I couldn't quite remember what it was until the end of the day!
So, I've been doing very well! I've been staying warm and Elder Skinner and I have been working hard in the area. It's been great! It's rained in Richmond this past week a little so we got somewhat wet on our bikes, but when it rains it gets warmer. So, when it doesn't rain, it's a bitter cold. Luckily this week it is warming up and starting to get into the 50's to 60's. Being the companion of a District Leader really isn't that different from being with someone that is just a regular missionary. The only difference is that you take down weekly numbers of your District and see how they're doing in their area. That's if you're the DL. We see President Wilson every so often. We were having a lesson near the baptismal font with someone and a member and President just randomly shows up around the corner! Apparently, he was doing some interviews with the Sister Training Leaders that serve in his area. Sisters have a great love for those they serve. I continually pray that I can have love like theirs. I think in the end though, it is Charity that they pray for so I pray for that. Of course that probably means I'll have the opportunity to be charitable so I can learn and grow in that area. Heavenly Father does that ha ha.
That would be AWESOME if you could get me a CD of a Choir Concert with Alex and Luke! I am still waiting for something from the Christmas concert, btw. Holy wow, Kate is turning 12 this year? That's too crazy! Is she excited to be going into Young Women's!? Remember to stay away from the Young Men, boys can be dumb. And I thought Ellie would be turning 8 NEXT year! This is weird! You really need to stop growing so you can be the same age when I get back! I will see you both in less than 15 months! It's going by way too fast!
So, we are still working with a few people right now. We've really only been able to have luck with one and she is on fire! We have started this Book of Mormon book club and it's awesome! We are doing it daily at 3:30 at the church. She loves it and is learning a lot from the Book of Mormon. It is really cool to see her testimony develop as she reads it and we discuss the chapters!
Thank you for sending me a care package or the one that is on the way! It will definitely help. We are being pretty safe, a car did honk at us yesterday but a lot of people seem to do that. We do have to get on the highway sometimes, but they do have very wide shoulders. It's also just me and Elder Skinner in our apartment, it's not big enough for 4. My last area in Accokeek will proabably be the biggest next to the house I lived in in Wakefield.
Well, I love you all and it's always great to hear from you!
